At WH Sports, the members of our sports sponsorship team have consulted on a wide variety of partnerships, taking ideas from their inception to getting contracts signed and delivered.

Chris Harfield

Co-Founder & Director

After concluding his career as a professional tennis player, Chris dedicated himself to the business side of sport. He began working in the agency world with many of today’s iconic athletes across a variety of fields spanning representation, commercial enhancement and profile-building, before setting his sights firmly on becoming a leading figure in athlete and brand representation team.

Joe Williams

Co-Founder & Director

Joe has a wealth of experience in the commercial world of sport, and has brokered over $100m of sponsorship deals across a variety of sports, including Formula One. Notable work in his portfolio includes multiple Plus500 front of shirt football sponsorships, along with brokering a number of high-profile partnerships for Castore in the Premier League and with other major rights holders.

Charlie Meek

Head of Commercial

Charlie has been an integral member of the WH Sports commercial team since 2016. He has brokered a number of major partnerships for the company, focusing on the betting, FX trading and crypto industries, including notable deals with Libertex, RoboMarkets, StormGain, and CopyBet. During his formative years, Charlie was a member of Harlequins U21s, and has brought his dynamism and team ethic from the field into the work environment.

Lydia Robbins

Commercial Executive

Lydia joined WH Sports in 2022 bringing her experience of working in a sports team environment, having previously been Operations Coordinator at Wasps Rugby club. Lydia's role in the commercial team involves researching relevant companies that would benefit from commercial partnerships in sport, and identifying sports that best align with a brand's objectives.

Edward Beech

Commercial Executive

Ed is a Loughborough University sport management graduate, who brings strong experience from a year-long industry placement with Hays, working on the activation of their longstanding partnership with Manchester City. Ed has a real passion for sport, particularly football, and is an Arsenal season ticket holder. Specialising in identifying businesses primed for sport sponsorships, Ed brings a blend of academic expertise and enthusiasm for sports partnerships.

Courtnee Gallagher

Commercial Manager

Courtnee has a comprehensive grasp of consumer behaviour acquired during her undergraduate studies in Psychology, coupled with a master's degree in Marketing. She joined WH from PitchBook, where she had been instrumental in closing numerous high-profile deals, with a keen understanding of prospects and their business imperatives. At WH, Courntee has melded her adeptness in sales with her fervour for sports, particularly women's sports, leveraging her insights to identify interesting opportunities for brands in this domain.

Ed Hawksworth

Commercial Manager

Ed joined the commercial team in January 2024. He specialises in forging strategic alliances between sports entities and B2B organizations, with a keen focus on pre-IPO companies. He arrived at WH with a proven track record having secured partnerships in motorsport and golf.

Kevan Baker

Commercial Manager

Kevan has client side business, marketing and brand strategy experience gained with leading UK companies such as British Airways and Bass. Within the agency sector, Kevan worked with some of the leading agencies in the world; Saatchi & Saatchi and Interpublic Group (IPG) whose clients included Carlsberg, Royal Bank of Scotland (NatWest), Unilever (Lever, Birds Eye and Walls), Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals, Air France and the BBC. Sports marketing has always been an active part of Kevan’s career and in recent years he has been involved in securing partnerships for brand owners with sports rights holders across the globe.

Brandon Seaber

Head Of Graphic Design

All of WHS’ online and offline literature is created and refined by Brandon, who brings several years of experience working on brand pitches to rights-holders spanning motorsport, football, cricket, rugby and winter sports.

Marcus Williams

Accounts Manager

As the WHS team accounts manager, Marcus is responsible for all the company’s day to day accounting and administrative related tasks. Despite carrying out a finance role at WHS, Marcus is a huge follower of sports and excelled in the field of journalism for some of the world’s leading publications including The Times.
